Other Studio Architects (OSA) is a Chartered Architecture Practice, working throughout London, Norfolk, and the South East.
We design high-quality spaces for living, working, playing, and learning, providing a wide-range of services for residential, commercial, community and arts based clients.
As a practice, the human experience drives all our work and we create unique responses to each site, client, and brief, seeking solutions which are not only ambitious and design driven but also pragmatic. We often work with tight budgets, complex programmes and evolving project requirements, yet we ensure we create high-quality spaces within set costs and timeframes.

OSA’s studio is led by award-winning RIBA Chartered Architect, Elena Thatcher, who has over 12 years experience designing and constructing buildings.
Working with us
Starting any project can be daunting, as a practice we take great care in explaining the process and making it accessible as possible.
We support our clients from day one, from developing ideas through to completion and beyond, offering support throughout the process and striving to exceed expectations.
As a studio, we provide a complete suite of architectural services, starting with the development of a client’s brief, feasibility studies and initial concept design, through to planning and building control applications, and tendering, construction and contract management. We work through these stages as set out by the RIBA Plan of Work, which can be found here.

Biographies
Elena Thatcher is an RIBA Chartered Architect. Prior to setting up OSA in early 2019, Elena worked at a number of award winning practices including Flanagan Lawrence, and, as an Associate Director at Hampson Williams. Elena volunteers as part of the RIBA Architecture Ambassador Programme and continues to run architecture workshops for children in Primary Schools. Elena teaches first year undergraduate architectural design at The University of Nottingham and has been a member of the jury panel for the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
